At a recent congregational meeting, our members were asked,
"How have you seen God working in our church?"

These are just some of the responses that were received:

Jestine: I have seen God working in this church since the day that I came here up until now with his love and his kindness that he has put in his people of this church. There was a time I used to walk to church every Sunday or whenever I came here. Now I'm not able to do that. And I thank God for the people that just offer me a ride. One day I had a couple of rides going! I have seen so much love here. I've been in other churches, but the love that is shown here is nothing but God. If you have any doubt that he is moving by his Spirit, He is in this church. And I am a witness!

Mary: To live in today's world with all of the stress, all the sadness and all the tragedy and all the uncertainty and to know that we can come together and keep our minds on Christ and look to the future with hope, and care and love for each other - it's such a blessing that I'm not sure we all realize, especially in these end times, how rare that is in this world. Praise God for His glory and that His word and truth is preached each Sunday and we are trying to love each other as we love him. And Lord please be with us as we're together.

Justin: I think I'm probably the youngest person in here and I just wanted to say I don't think you all realize how much your patience with my generation is appreciated and will probably cause this church to continue well into the future. There is so much going on in this world. You don't have to look far to see that my generation has had trust issues with the church and with many things in this world, in this country. And all of this swirls around love. I've had more atheists preach to me about love and ask me why my people can't get their stuff together and try to corral me in line than I have from people in the church. Your patience has not been towards making an instance of childhood and what you've learned, but you've been open to new things. Just the patience to say, "I don't know but I'll leave space to be loving and let's work this out together." This is really needed right now, not just in the CRCNA, but in this country. I can't thank you enough! God bless you all! Thank you for your kindness and patience.

Bill: I'd like to say to all the people in our church who have stood with us through our ordeal with Pam's health and for the love you have shown us and all your kindness and prayers for our family and for Pam these last couple of years, is so greatly appreciated.

Patricia: Just thinking about the 20th anniversary and I remember how God brought me here. I remember where I was 20 years ago and how God has used this church to bring me back to Him.

Jei: I am truly grateful for the love you have shown me and my family. Whatever I am able to contribute here, I get back in more than double. The blessing you guys have been in my life. As a matter of fact, there was a time in my life when I didn't even know what was going to happen to me, if God wanted me to preach, so to know that I can be a blessing here and a blessing to you all, in that regard, it really fills me up. I'm grateful.
