COFFEE BREAK WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
COFFEE BREAK WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

Tuesdays, September - early May from 9:15-11:00
A non-denominational Bible Study for women of all ages.
No Bible experience is necessary.

Coffee Break is a church-based, community-oriented
small group Bible study.
Our primary goal is to bring people into a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ and nurture their faith in Him.

Coffee Break has ended for this season - we hope you can join us in the fall!

Check our church calendar for our fall start, updated dates/times, and events.

What is Coffee Break like?

9:15-9:45
Coffee, Tea, Snacks
Time to make friends and talk together as we get to know each other.

9:45-10:00
Weekly announcements

10:00-11:00
Bible study and Prayer in groups of 8-15 women.

While having study time is important, we feel giving to those in need is equally important.
With this verse in mind, we participate in giving projects throughout the year:

"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these...you did for me."
Matthew 25:40

Blankets of Grace
We make no-sew fleece blankets together a few times each year.
These blankets are then given to anyone who needs a little
extra comfort in their lives.

Christmas Gifts for Those in Need
For the past several years we have partnered with the Lawn Manor School
in Oak Lawn to fulfill wish lists of families in need.

Other Opportunities to Give
When needs arise, we also support other non-profit organizations such as
The Women's Center or Roseland Christian Ministries.

Some of the ladies met on March 18, 2025 to make
no-sew fleece blankets to benefit the NICU
for Edwards' Syndrome babies and to
restock the cupboards.
Thank you ladies for your willing hands
and faithful hearts!

UPDATE: May 7, 2025

The comfort blankets we made back in March were finally delivered to Mia's mom, Jeanna. We are so honored to support Edwards' Syndrome Association with our Blankets of Grace in their mission to provide support to families with children who have been diagnosed with Trisomy 18.

Thank you, once again, to everyone who contributed their time, fleece, or made monetary donations to our Blanket Ministry in support of Edwards' Syndrome Association. Because of your support, a little over 50 blankets were made. We are so very grateful!
