The GEMS Girls' Club is for girls in grades 1 thru 8.
We meet from 7-8:15 pm on alternate Wednesdays.

GEMS Girls' Clubs is a relationship building, club program created especially for girls! GEMS Clubs are offered in local churches and other Christian organizations all across the US and Canada.
Girls in first through eighth grades are eligible for membership. In club, many fun and exciting things happen: |

- Participate in team building

- Enjoy dynamic singing, creative movement, signing, and dance

- Develop important life skills through badge activities
|

- Learn how to apply the Bible to your life
|
|
- Make creative and fun crafts
|
|
|
- Participate in service projects that make a difference in other's lives

- Find answers to challenges that girls face today

The purpose of GEMS Girls' Clubs is to help bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. To help foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well ? between girls and between girls and their
counselor (leader).
Girls in clubs are organized into small groups with one leader or counselor for each group of six to eight girls. And it is through these small groups, and the weekly interactions that take place in club that faith is nurtured and developed, and long lasting friendships are made.
The ministry of GEMS Girls' Clubs has been serving churches for over forty-nine years. During these years, thousands of girls' lives have been changed forever. Today, there are more than 23,000 girls who are members of GEMS Girls' Clubs, with 5,200 women enthusiastically serving as their counselors and mentors.
The ministry is non-denominational with club participation in several different denominations and non-denominational churches and other Christian organizations throughout the United States and Canada. GEMS has been recognized as the official youth serving agency for the Christian Reformed Church. Curriculum is developed from a reformed perspective.
The name GEMS Girls' Clubs is an acronym which stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. It clearly identifies the purpose for which the ministry was created. | |

Prayer - No Worries!
God is sovereign, all-knowing, and all foreseeing. In His infinite wisdom and boundless love, He gives repeated instruction in His Word that we must pray. Understanding that God knows all things - even what we'll pray before we pray it - why should we pray? We pray in obedience to God who tells us to pray about everything with thanksgiving and to worry about nothing. We pray to tell God what we need and through prayer God gives us exactly what we need - a deeper relationship with Himself.
Prayer protects us from anxiety and eliminates worry. GEMS Girls' Clubs is excited to spend the season learning about and practicing prayer!
