We join in God's worldwide mission when we reach out beyond the barriers that contain us, barriers of unjustice and race, economic barriers, barriers of nationality, barriers of hunger and need. We begin with our own neighborhood, extending our focus to our city, nation, and world. Our village has a great diversity of people, including many recent immigrants. The world is found here, in our community. |
